Weight Loss support for 2011 brides!!

So my whole healthy eating and workout plan has been sabotaged a bit over the past couple weeks. I've been having unexplained, gnawing abdominal pain a couple times a day for 1-4 hours a time for the past 2 weeks. I've seen my GP and late last week went to the hospital the pain was so bad - they did pregnancy tests, blood tests and an ultrasound and everything was fine (which is good news...I guess) but still no explanation for the pain! So now I've been told to basically purge my system and eliminate any potential allergens - so I'm literally eating tomato soup, natural oats, apple sauce, baby food, jello, and select vegeatbles. No meat, dairy, eggs, nuts, oils, or processes carbs (although I wasn't realy eating any dairy or processed carbs before either!). Ugh! Still feel like crap.

So I'm losing weight but NOT in a good way...my goal was to tone, not lose weight but I don't have much control over this at the moment. I'm just so frustrated because when I have an attack it hurts like Hell, I have no idea what's causing it, AND my wedding is in less than 4 weeks so it's seriously bad timing!!! BangHead.gif

And it's not stress!!! If another one of my coworkers or family members laughs it off and says that to me, I'm gonna freak on them, lol. I know they're just trying to be comforting but I haven't been stressed or worried about anything in quite a while...this whole DW process has been pretty much smooth sailing.

Wow that is not fun.  And so close to the wedding too.  I really hope they figure it out soon.

Did they rule out any pelvic/cervix/uterine infection or inflammation??  That is around the same area.  Just thinking here...

sorry to hear....

Hopefully the purge works and you can get back on track to toning!

That really sucks. It must be so frustrating not getting any answers.  Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the support, ladies. Yes, I had a full workup done of blood work, ultrasound, etc. to check for any sort of stones, infection, inflammation, etc. All came back fine. I've been pouring over research for the past few days and I think I've basically diagnosed myself with IBS. So to stabilize my system I am sticking to the bland foods and had to start eating starch again (the elimination of which over the past couple months may have triggered it). So far, so good in the past 24 hours anyway...and exercise really helps whatever it is so I have an extra motivator to keep that up! Lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
