I have been really good on the exercise front this week and the eating. I started keeping a food diary. My exercise this week. Monday - went to my woman's only gym where you do 2 laps of a circuit Tuesday - went to my first Zumba class Wednesday- took the baby i look after for an hour long walk Thursday- went to gym again, then had a private dance lesson with FI for our first dance Friday - 20 mins on the treadmill doing interval training Saturday (today) - walked 4 km (took me 41 mins which i was really happy about) sorry that is about 2.5 miles then went to the gym I weighed myself at the gym and i have put on just under 2 pounds so gutted! I stuck to a 1200 Calorie diet 4 out of the last 6 days Wednseday was about 1600 because i had a few wines at a friends house with dinner and then last night was a bit of a blow out as it was our good friend's farewell they are moving back to new york. I stayed away from the wine though and drank vodka diet coke as it as less cals than wine! No alcohol for me next week! Hopefully that will work! Although actually it is my Fi's bday next week so that may be hard!!

I have lost about 8 pounds over the last 6 months but just not enough!  I really hope that over the next 5 weeks i will drop at least another 8 pounds then i will reach the max weight i wanted to be! I was the same as you I kept putting of starting thinking i had heaps of time, i joined the gym back in sept but just havent been going enough!  Have really dropped my portion sizes now!  I would try really hard to start now if i was you then it doesn't have to be so drastic a change at the end!!

Kiwi, I also live by my food diary.

Without it i dont think i would have done so well :)

It really keeps me in check with my food, I use an APP on my droid fone and it has a UPC Scanner which is fantastic...

I stay about 1200 - 1500 calories, i make sure to give myself that space so i dont obsess too much.

I also went the extra step and bought a BODYBUGG which I wear 24/7 and it tells me how many calories I burn at all times. (even sleeping)

I do the gym 6 days a week, usually atleast 30min of cardio and then a body part with heavy weights. My FI helps me!

At first i didnt see any changes......

But now its like all the sudden things just started to change overnite, I have been doing this since Jan 3rd.

I am down 9 pounds and inches too......, i know weight 125.5 (i use two scales, one at gym one at home, so the 125.5 is the HOME Scale - i shouldnt have done that)

We all have to just keep it up and have faith that it is working, if you eat well and keep MOVING things hafta change!!

My problem is my lower belly....urgghhh, it wont go anywhere ( i had twins 15 yrs ago)...

That's great if you lost 8 lbs!!! Not easy to do. But since you didn't have a lot to lose to begin with, you're body has likely plateaued. If you wanna lose another 8 lbs in 5 weeks, you're gonna really have to step up your workout routine. That's the only way to bust out of a plateau...simply cutting back more calories is not gonna do it. Walking and moderate exercise is good but to drop more weight, you'll need to do more intensive cardio AND some strength training. Also, you said you stuck to your meal plan 4 out of 6 days...what about the 7th day? You shouldn't give yourself more than 1 "cheat day" and at this point, maybe not at all. And a cheat day doesn't mean we can go all crazy...it can lead to unnecessary water weight. Please don't cut anymore calories...1200 is not a lot. Up your lean protein instead. Goodluck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
