Good luck! Sending all the skinny mojo your way.

I weigh myself on Sunday. I FEEL skinnier, but the proof is in the pudding. FI has already weighed himself after only 3 days on the diet, and is already down 3 pounds. That brat.

Good morning Nicola!! Don't feel guilty, you need to give yourself a break every once in a while or else you'll burn yourself out and lose your motivation! I skipped my workout this morning and also felt a bit guilty, but I also felt super rested which was nice for a change, and now feel more motivated to dig in tomorrow :)

Good luck with your weigh-in!! My weekly one is on Sunday so I'll keep you updated!! Just remember to keep setting goals and keep the biggest long term one at the fore front - your beautiful wedding day!

Hello ladies! I hope everyone is doing well. I had a great week, but I'm going on vacation soon and it's soooooooo hard to stay on track. I'll be at a cottage with bbq, beer, lobster.. it will be tough. I hope to just maintain my loss so far while on vacation and not gain too much! Hopefully we can get some long walks in or something.

I have not been to active lately on this thread but I really need to get more active on this thread and with my weight loss, I want to go dress shopping in October when my daughter comes home, but I also need to lose about 30 lbs before I will feel comfortable enough to even try a dress on. so I have to crack down.

But like everyone else, I am finding many challenges this summer, with camping, BBQ etc etc etc. So starting today I am going to try 150% to be good!

Anybody else ordered their dress and now worried it will be too big? They said at the bridal store that they can alter up or down 4 sizes. I haven't lost that much weight but we did order it a little big to accommodate the bust. Dress isn't in until October so I guess I won't know where I stand until then.

I have not ordered my dress for that reason. I am getting married in April and all of these wedding boutiques have been telling me I am "behind" in ordering my dress. I have lost a lot of weight and I am still losing weight. At the same time, who knows when the "perfect" time to order is.

Hopefully your dress fits or they can alter it to fit properly. My bridesmaids dress for my brothers wedding was too big and the lady told me she couldn't take it in anymore without ruining the dress... so it was falling off me all night :(  good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
