I did the same thing since I already had everyone's email address. I sent a mass email & to keep my responses organized, I just kept a spreadsheet & as a guest emailed me their address, I updated the spreadsheet. It was very easy.

Hahahaa, sometimes we really do overcomplicate things, don't we. I would send a mass email asking for their address and then update the spreadsheet yourself.

If you reallllly want to have them enter it right into the file, you can create it on http://docs.google.com/ and then send an email out to have people update online.

I would think it would be easier to maintain control though b/c people might be put off my the google doc if they don't know how it works.

My experience is, the more you think you want to convenience your guests by making them go online to a specific website, the less likely they'll do it on time. My suggestion is ask them directly via email or telephone. You will save alot of waiting time and idle time because invitations and STDs are one of those things that should be completed once. I did online RSVPs and only 50% did them on their own (and these are computer savvy ppl!) so the rest I had to remind twice, some elderly folks are not savvy so I penciled them in after speaking to them directly.

thanks for everyone's feedback, but I was actually able to find a site where I could create a form and link it to my wedding website or email to my guests. Once they fill it out, I can then export in excel to create labels. For me, I don't want to update spreadsheet for all the ppl I am inviting b/c I am inviting over 100 ppl. This will work out good for me especially since most people I am inviting use the computer alot. If anyone is interested here are some sites were you can create forms, surveys, invitations etc. Wufoo: Online HTML Form Builder - Contact, Survey & Payment Forms and Online Web Forms, Surveys & Questionnaires - FormAssembly.com

here is my site, but its not completely done.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
