Jana297, we've just decided this week that Dreams Cancun will be the perfect hotel for us to get married at in July 2012.  Now we've decided on the venue I feel like i can finally start planning.

All done!!  ;-)  Remember the prices change.  I was able to secure 2010 prices by putting a deposit down, however; the package layout may change.

Hey guys Im going for a site visit In dec to the royal cancun for a july 2012 wedding They only let you choose one entree for every guest at your wedding ! Does anyone else think this is crazy!!!I

I think thats pretty typical. It seems most resorts are like that and even if you were getting married at home most caterers are like that unless you are willing to pay x amount extra per plate for an option.

Well maybe im used to NY weddings because there are min 3 choices at catering halls up to 5 or 7 sometimes .. how can i make everyone all Eat chicken or steak it doesnt make sense

I was just wondering if you've all decided on a hotel to have your wedding at.  We've finally decided on Dreams Cancun for our July 2012 wedding, I can't book anything yet because the prices in the UK don't become available until February/March 2011, so i'm just eagerly waiting.

 

Where has everybody else chosen and why?

I'm going for Dreams Palm Beach in Dominican Republic in Mach 2012. Chose Dominican because I didn't want Mexico and Dominican has fantastic beaches and less expensive than places like Jamaica, St. Lucia, etc. I chose Dreams because they are supposed to be reallly good with weddings and the resort is not a huge mega resort which was my #1 criteria.
