Thank you to everyone, especially the links to forums and pictures!!! I'm going to meet with a local TA after work tonight, so I might be able to narrow some more things down. ALL advice and ideas is greatly appreciated right now. So thanks again to everyone!

Welcome! My Travel Agent (TA) was a huge help. I gave her a list of things that I had to have (prioritized) and things that I could do without. She gave me a list of resorts and links that met my criteria.

You should look in the subforum of the Travel section on this site. I just saw that there's a TA that has webinars on various results and they give discounts for brides who participate.

Happy Planning!

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the forum! It is really overwhelming when you first get here but you'll figure everything out soon enough. I recommend reading some of the FAQs for the forum so you get the hang of how everything works. Try the search function so you can find info on specific resorts in Mexico that you are interested. I'm sure you'll find all your answers here and if you cant find it, ask! Good luck with your planning!

I recently found this website after just starting to look at options for a DW. I'm super excited and already overwhelmed. I've always wanted to get married on a beach, but never did any research until now. I absolutely love the Cancun/Riviera area of Mexico, but I'm limited on knowledge about specific resorts. I've already read the rules, so I will do my best to search the other forums and try not to ask repeat questions.

Time to explore!

Hi Marny- This is the best place ever to figure things out! I had no clue where I wanted to go or anything. Reading all the information and review's really helps you decide what is best for your weddding! Happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
