Hello Everyone,

My name is Sharon and I just got engaged about a week ago. I am in the early stages of planning, but I would love to have a destination wedding in the Riviera Maya. I am planning on a wedding in early December for around 30 people, and I am not quite sure how it all works. Do most wedding parties stay at the hotel where the wedding is going to be? I would love to provide my guests with various options with a variety of prices for their stay. I just don't know where to start because it seems like every location that I have researched looks amazing.

Best wishes and WELCOME! I would like my guest to stay at the same resort, but that is really up to you. I plan on leaving a day before my guess and stay in a different city in DR for a bit of alone time. But I really want the the first couple of days with Family and Friends.

Hello Sharon...and welcome!!!!! There are many options as to where to stay. You can have your guest stay at a different hotel (though that might be too much for travel) but there is Barcelo Complex which has a complex with 5 resorts. So there are many options.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
