Its a shame that there really are people out there like this! Im so sorry this had to happen to you! I get SO nervous ordering things off the internet because I always hear peoples horror stories! I know this wont help you now, but maybe in the future.. Before I order from an online place I search reviews for the place and see what everyone else has to say before giving any credit card information. Hope this helps!

Ok having seen the pictures i agree the orchid is on the naff side. The bridemaids bouquet i dont really have a problem with. The colour is good.Have you taken the picture looking down onto it.Post another picture from a different angle.I think theses may be saveable.Post pictures and im sure we will be honest enough to say if they could be for keeps. However put pressure on the woman for a refund. They do look good in the photo and im being honest xx

I'll try to take another picture from a different angle. I do appreciate the honesty and I know they aren't horrible but the fact that she told me they were floramatique when they aren't is what really has me upset.

I sent the picture of my bouquet to the wholesaler for Ontario and they said they don't have that in stock and that it looks like a knock off.

Ok. So here are extra pictures from different angles. Please be honest and let me know if you think I'm crazy for complaining about the quality...

I finally got an email back from her where she basically I signed a contract and I am SOL and that she won't return any more of my emails. I've asked her to call me to at least have a chance to discuss this over the phone but I'm not holding my breath... This is the first time in the whole planning process that I've felt stressed and wanted to cry....

Ok from the top looking down onto the bouquet, I was thinking: not soooo bad....but looking from the bottom it definitely does not look real...the leaves, which are not visible from the top should have been flipped the other way...so at least you can't see the plastic veins and upside down faded fabric...I mean I can understand if they were visible beyond the flowers but you can't see them from the top of the bouquet! It's hard to say because pictures really are favorable to fake flowers, unfortunately, I hope you get something resolved to make you feel a little better about the whole situation :o(

Maybe you can just try putting more realistic leaves and get rid of the ones on there...it might help :o)

i agree with suzy...the leaves are killing me...she NEEDS to fix those!

the bright side is that most of your photos are going to be from a distance and with your bridesmaid holding them...and the focus will be on the person not the flowers. take a photo of yourself holding it like they would (maybe wearing something in the color of their dresses) and see how they look...the flower's color is nice and should add a pop.

hopefully the bouquets will turn out to be a full-on Monet (ha...a little clueless reference..in other words, nice from far away and just bad close up).

take care!

xoxo

I think the mums look pretty, love the color!!! But the leaves look sooo fake. I cannot believe they would use those leaves!!!

It is possible to take the bouquet apart and take the leaves out? Could you just re-wrap after the leaves are off or are they glued on?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
