Disappointed with Treasured Moments - real touch flowers :(

    I feel bad writing a negative review about this florist but I thought other brides should be weary of ordering from this vendor.

    My wedding is just over three months away, my flowers are crap and surprise surprise Treasured Moments won't refund me or even respond to my emails now...

    I really wanted green fuji mums for my bridesmaids bouquets and ordered them from Treasured Moments (in Ontario) for what I thought was a pretty good price - ladies beware! If it's inexpensive it may not be the real thing.

    My first clue should have come when she wouldn't send me pictures of what the mums looked like. But I decided to trust her - she is a florist after all - and go with it. What I got were foam flowers that she told me via email were floramatique. After being on this forum I saw another brides bouquet with real floramatique fuji mums and realized I had been dupped.

    I've sent her pictures of real floramatique fuji mums from other vendors to show her that what she sent me is obviously not the same thing and now she is not responding. Hopefully she'll respond soon...(fingers crossed)

    I'll try to post pictures soon. Sorry for the vent - I just hope no one else has to go through this.

          My fingers are crossed for you! I know it's heartbreaking when you do not get what you expected.

            I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the vendor responds and gives you what you paid for. If she won't perhaps you should make a complaint to the BBB.

              Please post pics. Maybe they are fixable?

              Is the whole bouquet the mums or just a few flowers? Do you only have a problem with the BM bouquets or do you not like any of the flowers?

                  I have boutonierres and corsages from her that I don't like either but I told her I would let those go if I could at least get my money back on the bridesmaid bouquets.

                    I'm sorry - some people out there just seen to want to take advantage of other people...especially us brides. I had a similar but much less expensive lesson from a place called Budget Bride. I hope they do something to help you out.

                    Do you have a store called Chintz and Company there? I knowyou paid for these, but in case you are out of the money and still need flowers they have some really beautiful ones there for reasonable prices. They are not the brand "Real Touch" but they are something really similar and beautiful. I was not looking for the mums you like so I don't know if they are there, but they did have a beautiful selection.

                      We don't have that store but I did find another vendor who sent me the real floramatique pictures who offered to fix my bouquet for the cost of the new flowers only. I'm just hoping I can get some of my money back so that I can put it towards something new.
