I saw a thread from a while ago about door hangers and thought I should post these to anyone who is interested. I found them on a Martha Stewart website a few months ago and can't find the link now, so I'll copy and paste them...

These are DIY door hangers for your guests. You can print them out (two to a page), on heavy card stock and stash a couple in you OOT bags. Don't forget to add a pen! I think these are adorable, and since you are printing them out yourself you can always edit them to please your guests with graphics, fonts and diff. activities. Enjoy :)

I had a few of these made and laminated and then decided not to do them because other brides said they had problems with people breaking into the rooms when they knew people weren't in there. I didn't want to put my guests at risk. I loved the idea and had a hard time letting it go, but in the end felt it was the right thing to do.

What do you ladies think?

That's definately a concern of mine but I'm going to include luggage locks in the 'what to pack' list and encourage all of my guests to keep their bags locked while they aren't in their room. I'm going to bring a few extras with me as well to make sure everyone has them. I've read a few horror stories of guests even having their safes broken into so I think keeping your bags locked up will help.

I also saw a thread that some ladies were making door hangers that didnt necessarily say they weren't in the room, instead they had fun sayings like 'No Mas Tequila!', 'How can I be so thirsty when I drank so much last night?' or 'Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses'

Anyone have any other cute quotes?

I got dry erase door with a dry erase marker that sticks on the side so my guests can leave each other notes or funny sayings. It's definitely thing I can see my guests having way too much fun with. Maybe I'll create a list of code words to write on their door hangers to tell where they are but doesn't give away the fact the fact they are out of the room.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
