place cards for 35 people

Recommended Posts

i dont think we are going to do place cards either or have designated tables.

If you are thinking about doing place cards....i saw cheap blue and pink ones in tjmaxx and ross. I believe its 40 for 1.99. If any of you ladies need me to pm me, and i can see if there are any left at my store. They also had 40 blank ceremony programs for 9.99 in blue and pink.....not sure whats left now.

They usually do- as long as they're visible enough that people notice them right away. Most people wonder where they're supposed to be sitting so they kind of guide the way. I've never heard of people just ignoring them (if you did you'd be sitting in someone else's seat which is pretty rude) but then again I'm no expert!

I agree! Unless they are double duty as a favor I wouldn't do them. They are a cute detail.

I'm having 45-50 people and I've been debating about it a little. I might do it only because I don't want there to be an 8 person table where there's one extra person who really wants to sit there and pulls a chair from another table:) I just want the tables to be even which is why I might do them. I'll mix it up so every table has a fun group who likes each other and will be happy to be sitting together.

I'm absolutely 100% NOT doing a bridal party table... I hate those. I think that the bridal party should be spread out and sit with everyone else. I was a BM at my bro's wedding and hated having to sit wtih the bridal party. I wanted to sit with my family & friends.

My FI was a GM in his sisters wedding recently, who also had a designated bridal party table. I didn't think it was as fun. We wanted to sit with some other ppl but couldn't because we were forced to sit in the "bridal table". I've had bad experiences with them so I won't be doing it:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
