Juan Carlos Tapia or other photographer in Rivera Maya?

Hi! I'm planning on getting married in July 2011 at Azul Beach Hotel in Rivera Maya. I'm wondering about a photographer that you could recommend. I love the work of Juan Carlos Tapia but not sure about the costs to fly him in from Los Cabo unless someone is willing to split the cost of travel? Does anyone have other recommendations of a great photographer?

 

This is most crucial point of the events as alot of our extended family will not be able to come with us...the pictures capturing the event is very important.

 

Any recommendations?

i have a bunch in the states that I could recommend. I just went through this process and it was so hard to pick.

 

Ball n' Chain Photography in Raleigh, NC

Gwendolyn Tundermann in Jacksonville (who we picked)

Ivan Luckie in Mx (on this board)

Studio B Photography in Atlanta

Melissa Green in Salt Lake City (on this board)

 

There are so many on the board. Just depends what style you are looking for, budget and package.

Okay, Juan is AMAZING!!! So if you can swing it to fly him in, I'd totally do that. You can also add something to your signature of your posts asking if anyone else would like to share the costs of his services with you.

And if that won't work, there are a ton of photographers on this forum who would be willing to help you out.

Just personal preference...but I'm not the biggest Juan fan. While I do think his work is really good...I don't think it measures up to his price. And you have to wait like 4-6 MONTHS for your pictures after the wedding.

I LOVED my photographers: del Sol Photography

they are AWESOME (people and photographers)!!!! and local to RM.

juan carlos is great and did my wedding..

 

karisma is really not great with their outside vendor policy so your photog may have to stay a couple of nights at the resort.

 

what about:

 

elizabeth medina

victor herrera

ivan luckie

sasha gluck

 

they are vendors on the forum and work in that area...you can click the button to see more of their work,

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
