What inserts did you/are you including with your invitations?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking around the forum and having trouble finding what I'm looking for, so I thought I'd ask you all! Let me know if you've found a good thread on this...

What inserts are you including with your invitations? Here is what I'm thinking or what I have so far...

- RSVP postcard (of course!)

- Travel Information

- Accomodtion Information

What else? Should I include something about possible activities? (fishing, zip line tours, etc.) Or, something about the welcome reception? (I was thinking of adding that to the welcome basket later - haven't picked a location yet). What else would be helpful to the guests/travellers??

Thanks!!!

We included the rsvp & one for accommodations/TA info with our website listed.

We're also sending out a pre-travel to PV brochure about a month in advance with more info such as a list of weekend events, packing list, & helpful tips. I think the rest (excursions, etc) you could have in your welcome bags.

We did ours a little different I guess. We booked our trip last May and sent out all of the information by email and by phone/word of mouth because when we got our trip quote, there was not enough time to send invites and put our deposits down on time. Our wedding is in April, so last month we sent out the invitation packages to the people who we already know are coming. We put it everything in an envelope with a ribbon to hold it all together. The firt thing was a little card that was called Contents and listed everything in the package which was:

-Boarding Pass (the invitation part)

-Passport (we made these to include all sorts of information of the destination and our wedding)

-Resort Brochure

-Packing List (very cute papers that my sister found at Michaels)

-A pack of gum and a wordsearch to do on the plane

Everyone loved the packages and thought it was something that came with our wedding package but we actually made them all (except the packing list and gum of course).

I'm working on mine as well. I have Travel Information/Hotel Accomodation and RSVP. What kind of travel information should I put on there. I agree with the other post, to keep it simple. I am thinking Passport reminder, and I don't know what else. Any ideas would be good. thanks

For travel information, this is what I have so far:
- Passport Info
- Climate/Weather
- Getting Around (taxi info)

I may add something else? Thoughts?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
