I like the background in the first one, but the colors dont show up too well. maybe instead of the yellow letters you could do white and incorporate yellow another way?

I like the second one because you can see every detail :)

good job so far!!

Looks great! Look better than my first two attempts. :-)

The font used for the location and the date are hard to read. It could be my senior eyes. Maybe a plain text like Calbri or such?

I love the changes you made to the first one, much easier to read the yellow print now. I also agree that changing the M in the second one to green would be a good idea.

Definitely stick with Photoshop - you can absolutely do a lot more!! Try adding drop shadows by right clicking on the layer and choose Blending Options. I'm sure it will turn out great whatever you do!

I agree with Julie. For the first one (which is looking better than the first shot), add drop shadows to your yellow font ... maybe texturize it so it stands out more.

the font at the bottom for the location and date are difficult to read, and maybe use something like a serif font or All caps...

Other than that, great job!

I like the first one, different than the usual "traditional" monogram. I agree with other people, you may want to change your fonts a little, especially the colour, to help pop out the theme!
