Here is an email I got from travelzoo...might be a good idea if you are planning a site visit!? :)

The Travelzoo Newsdesk has found this outstanding offer from
    Pleasant Holidays:

SAN FRANCISCO--JULY 17, 2007-- For five departure dates
only, Pleasant Holidays has slashed Hawaii vacations in
summer from San Francisco to $349 per person. We usually see
airfare alone cost about this much.

You must book by August 7.

    This offer includes:
    - Roundtrip air on United Airlines from San Francisco
    - 4 nights at the Continental Surf or similar hotel
    - Departures between August 23-27

You can add nights to your trip (depart August 21-27),
upgrade your hotel or travel in September including Labor
    Day weekend for slightly more.

For full details of this offer and to book directly through
    Pleasant Holidays, click here:

Wow . . . that is an awesome deal for airfare / hotel!!! I want to go there for my 15th wedding anniversary in a couple more years. Hubby doesn't want to go - he hates the beach . . . I love it!!! He's more of a mountain kind of guy!

Good find. Pleasant Holidays often has these last minute kind of deals, really cheap to Oahu or PV/Mazatlan from the west coast. The accomodations are typically really basic but you can upgrade to a nicer place and still save hundreds of dollars. You can get on their free email list at the Pleasant Holidays site and they'll send these to you as they come up.
