hey ladies...just wanted to make sure you all know the fire dancers are "traditional mexican fire dancers". We booked fire dancers, and thought it was the fire dancers with the long poles who blew fire and danced around it and gave you a shot of it...know what i mean?! anyway, it was 3 traditional fire dancers...if I'm being honest, we wouldn't have paid all that money for them if we'd known that...I'm sure the picture in the quote they sent me had a small picture of the fire dancers I was expecting...anyway, just wanted to make sure you were all aware of this too.

Don't get me wrong, they were still great entertainment...just not what we were looking for.

Ooooooo! That's great information, because I had the same visual in mind. 'So glad you cleared that up. I will shift those funds someplace else in my budget. smile36.gif

No bother. Since I've came back I've had a look at the zuniga website, because I didn't keep any of the emails they sent me...silly I know. Anyway, on the zuniga website they do have pictures of the fire dancers we wanted, so maybe if you clarified with them you'll get what you want.

Does anyone have a catalog from Zuniga that they are willing to share?
My rep said they do not have a catalogue. Just send them pictures of what you'd like....either inspiration pics or from their site. Anita has been an absolute joy to work with and very quick in responding. It seems they can literally do anything with their workshop. I think their pre made options are cheaper, in terms of decor.

I am still 8 months away so I have not been assigned a WC yet.  I'm sorry to hear about your dilema, I was also afraid of this because I know there are at least 2 other weddings taking place on the same day as mine.  Have you expressed to your WC that you are unhappy with the gazebo and your reception location choices?  I'm pretty sure they can change the gazebo because I am under the impression that they only do one wedding ceremony per time slot.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
