Hi Kathy & Ted and welcome to the forum! Don't worry, it will all work out and you'll have a wonderful wedding. Moon Palace does have a chapel and the beach has some seaweed.
It is beautiful, too. Best wishes and happy planning.

Congrats and welcome! I'm sure there are a lot of beautiful churches in the area, especially since it is so highly populated by Catholics. However, if you are thinking of doing something all within a hotel, you can have the priest come to you. I know, for example, at the Iberostar where we're getting married, you have the option to get married on the beach, under the gazebo, or in the chapel. The chapel is pretty from what I can tell on photos as well. Also, the packages give you the option to have a judge, priest, etc. marry you, so you could always arrange for a priest to marry you. And if you wanted to bring one with you, you can arrange for that as well. Hope this helps! By the way, I think a lot of the hotels are like this, but I'm just speaking for the Iberostar.
