Real Housewives of Orange County!

I like Gretchen but only on a completely superficial level. I like her hair, some of her clothes, I think she can be funny and looks like fun, but yeah she is annoying in that she can be a definite know-it-all.

I think Vicky can be a b---h at times, but I do like her and respect her strong work ethic. I also have a similiar relationship in that the DH and I are both independent and comfortable in doing our own things. We do a lot of stuff together, but also do a lot of stuff separately and it's not a big deal. I felt bad about her girls trip. I would have been pissed.

Jessica I totally agree with you about Vicki and her hubby, Will and I are very much like that. We have our time together but we also have time apart where we do our own thing.

I admire Vicki for all she has done to make herself successful.

I feel horrible for Tamara and Simone's kids, one day they will google their parents and find out all this about them.

As for Lynne wow, she's a mess of a mother, her daughter is asking for structure and she continues to allow her to misbehave.

Iâ€m glad I found this thread; Iâ€ve missed a couple of episodes and wanted to catch up. I didnâ€t know Tamra and her hubby got divorced. I thought they were working things out.

Lynne is useless when it comes to parenting. How are you going to let one daughter drink when sheâ€s underage and then let the other daughter call you a b*tch?

I have a love hate relationship with Vicki. I love her drive and the fact that she actually works unlike the other housewives, but sometimes she can be a little controlling. I really didnâ€t like her the past seasons because she treated her husband so bad. I wondered why he would stay, but now I realize that sheâ€s the man in the relationship and heâ€s happy being the woman.

Iâ€m with debbmach, I miss Jeanna too.

How did I miss this thread?! I love this show! We are a few episodes behind you guys in the US, but I follow what happens in the tabloids etc so I'm pretty much up to speed. I think Lynne is a total airhead but she seems nice and I don't think she'd ever want to hurt anyone. Gretchen is amazing for TV but I don't think I could stand to be her friend in real life. Vicky seems a lot better this season than she has in past seasons IMO...she seems to have recognized what's important and she's not wasting her time on the other stuff. That new girl, Alexis, makes me want to slit my wrists. I can't relate to her at ALL...her marriage and life is so weird to me!

Ya and she took her 2 year old twin girls to get manicures...what the heck?! Sorry if anyone has done that but I just think that's mental. And it's really creepy how possessive her husband is over her, even though she's allowed to dress like a ho most of the time.

LOL that is so funny!! and TRUE. Did you guys see that clip (one of those that they put in between commercials) where Alexis and her Hubby are at dinner, and he makes fun of her in front of the waiter? I don't remember the details, but he made her look really stupid. It was sad, and she was just like, 'giggle giggle hehe'

I love this show and wish I could watch more episodes. I have to watch what I can on hulu, since we don't have real TV. I think I see like everyother epidsode and I'm honestly not sure if I'm even on the right season. The one I saw the other day was post Lynn's eviction and some how I missed the tatoo episode. Lynn drives me crazy with her parenting. Gretchen didn't tell her she's doing it wrong, but offered to listen because she's younger and closer to a peer. Lynn turned it all around and it became this HUGE issue. ugh.

Tamra drives me crazy. Her husband is rediculous. She's so judgemental and I have a hard time believing she's never done anything stupid in her life.

Gretchen I go back and forth with. What I like about her is that she seems pretty real and loves life. What I don't like is that she likes Slade. Gross.

Vicki reminds me of a more crazy version of my mom. Watching her react to her daughter having tumors and all that shows she's a very concerned mom. It's funny to see how balanced and calm her daughter is. She is a little over the top with all of her "I work" stuff, but can you really blame her with the others around her?

Jeanna was my favorite as well, her oldest son was not nice to his mom.

I agree. Alexis is ANNOYING. I mean, power to you if you are lucky enough to be a stay at home mom, and you have a nanny for your kids, but she should NOT complain about anything in her lifestyle to Vicky or any other working mom. I would love to not work, but when women like Alexis complain to me about how their nanny's vacation time is cutting into yoga classes, I canNOT be sympathetic. I know too many moms (without nannies and working full time) that are amazing with juggling work, the kids AND their husbands (if married). Alexis should just shut up when that subject comes up.

Vicky's less abrasive this season, but c'mon, she's still controlling and inconsiderate of what she says about other people to other people, and when the tables are turned on her, and they call her out on her bad behavior, she becomes such a baby and tries to manipulate the situation to make herself the victim.

why do I still keep watching this crap if i get so riled up over the cast of charactershuh.gif i just can't help myself! popcorn.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
