Hello there!

Here are my details :

 

Name : Harshi

Date of Wedding : July 5th 2010

Location : Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

 

I've booked my tickets and my wedding package - now my main concern is about the reception.

 

I'm a bit relucant to go with the Private Reception option, as you're forced to choose one Menu, with one main dish for everyone. Not easy considering I may have 50plus people attending!

 

THe Dominican forum is already proving helpful....I'm definitely going to dig around there to see if I can find some answers to my dilemma!

Welcome to the site, you seem to be well on your way in the planning process! I wouldn't worry about the dinner - really, any wedding you go to there is only one main dish.... and your guests can always sneak away to the snack bar if they don't like your choice!

Hello There...we're wedding week twins! My FI and I are getting married on the Punta Cana side of the Gran Bahia the same week! Our wedding date is the 7th! We did end up going with the private reception and we choose the Garden Grill Restaurant...apparently it's the nicest! Others have said that the chicken was a good one to choose and everyone loved it! Enjoy the site...there is so much information here...you'll find everything you need to make it the wedding of your dreams! What time has your ceremony been scheduled for? I've heard all good things about the Wedding Coordinators there...they take care of everything! See you around the forum!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
