My Publisher vent..

Recommended Posts

So when we lost our foster girl Rosie we decided to do a memory book of her. So I went to My Publisher and created a book, you are allowed to cancel an order only within the first hour of the order. Well I ended up canceling the book because I found a couple more pictures I wanted to use as well. So submitted my cancel request and got a confirmation on it. Then I few hours later I uploaded the new book layout to them. A couple days pass and I receive an email from My Publisher advising me there was an upload problem and to re-submit. So I did... Now if your following me on this so far a total of three orders were placed but only the finial one is valid. So, last Thursday in the mail I get a set of books (I ordered two of the same book) And low and behold it was of the one I canceled, so I sent them an email. Then the next day I receive the other two orders, one was the one that supposedly was never uploaded and the other was the valid one. Yes I now have 6 books when I'm only suppose to have 2. So I have no sent My Publisher at least a dozen emails telling them of their error and advising them that my account was charged for all three orders. I'm about to loose my mind, because these morons don't understand that they still need to issue me credit. I asked if someone can call me to discuss over the phone since clearly they don't get it and they responded "no we only handle questions over email" OMG I'm so freakin pissed off right now...

If I call my credit card company, will they stop that charge If I tell them it's not authorized?

Well the last email I sent them yesterday I was very frustrated and mad, so the email I got back was that the guy would forward to his Manager. This morning I get an email from the Manager and she said she didn't know why I was charged for all three orders and will make sure two of the orders are credited and it should show up in a week. So I'll check next week to make sure it went through.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
