Funny thing...she ended up ordering them through Discount mugs but worked out to be cheaper! Here's a picture and feel free to email her...her email is Sue@h2team.ca

43! I only really need 42 but I ordered 50 to be safe!

They keep asking me for everthing twice...first it was to submit my artwork and then again to approve it. Doesn't make me too confident when they aren't keeping track of my responses!

  • 3 weeks later...

So the mugs I ordered from Discountmugs.com came in last night (4 days before the estimated arrival date)!! I ordered 50 mugs for $245 CDN, ended up with 52, and they're AWESOME!! They look SO good! The best part is...there was NO DUTY OR TAXES! FI got home from work and the boxes were right on our front step!

I'll post a pic when I get home tonight. Bottom line: I would highly recommend Discountmugs!

I had been looking at discount mugs, but I am soo worried about getting hit with the brokerage fees and it seems that the majority of ppl get hit with them. I only need to order 25 (at the most), and $10 a mug is just not in our budget. KRama, your mugs look great and you are so lucky you didn't have to pay for brokerage fees - how did you manage that?

I am going to email Sue at H2 from previous post for more info - anyone else use her?

I also found www.customdrinkware.ca when researching mugs in Canada. they are based out of Toronto. Specifically the Vibe 16 oz travel mug since it has our purple colour theme. It is $135 for 36 mugs (3.75 each) and so even with shipping fees, it's a pretty good deal. But I am just wondering about the quality of them.

Anyone hear about this company?

Either way, I need to get on the ball since I only have 3 months to go!!

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and just order from discountmugs.com, they have a 25% off sale NOW until january 5th, and I figure that I'll be going down to NYC to visit family in a few months to pick em up.  I just hope I don't get interrogated by customs at the border and have to pay taxes!!

FYI - another friend of mine just had their DW in Aruba and used (www.admar.ca) a promo company that his work used, but I won't be using them.

I might use discount mugs, too, but I am debating between st58 in purple or tm801. Purple is my bridesmaid and flowers and sashes colour.I really like tm801 but they don't have my colour purple, so that's why I thought of st58. I also thought to buy tm801 in white with purple writing, but they don't have white anymore. Do you think it would look odd to order another colour? Of course, my fiance says order whatever colour, it doesn't make a difference. But I am anal with these sort of things - type A - and wanted everything in purple, but I like the ones that don't come in purple! What would you guys do? It is consuming my time like crazy - I am going insane trying to make a decision! Help me!

Hi Sarah!

I'm completely the same way as you are and tossing between colors and choices.  I'd tend to do all purple if I were you ST58 is nice in stainless and white!!  I might end up ordering the PT88... I've placed a tentative order but haven't processed the charges yet!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
