    Hello,

I've seen some pictures of brides getting married on the beach and they have a small table, maybe a 4 x 2 that they sign the legal papers or the minster stands behind it. Does anyone happen to know if this was something that was included or something you had to rent? I'm still trying to figure out a cheap but nice way to give me something to walk to for our ceremony, plus I was going to do one of those wedding guest photo frames and figured I could put in on the table for them to sign while Cain and I are taking our pictures.

Any information you can give would be great.

      Hey Tammy,

So I think this would be a great question for your coordinator...I know, I know, she's not the best, but maybe after you "slap her around" ??

Anyway, another idea if you don't want to rent a table due to high cost, you could always find something at Costco while you are down there. Or, dare I suggest...smuggle a table from the room you are staying in .

Am I remembering that you are not allowed to have chairs on Pedregal beach? If so, I'm thinking maybe you can't have a table. Better talk to your Coordinator...

No we can't have chairs on Pedregal beach, however they will allow an arch or canopy and I know I seen a wedding on Pedregal that had a table on the beach so it has to be allowed, and it has to be cheaper then renting a canopy for $450.00 for a ceremony that lasts 15 minutes, that just seems crazy to me.

So all the creative girls on the board, what would you recommend, do you think I should do something, or just leave it to it's natural beauty. I thinking about doing rose pedals but again, to lead where.

BTW in case your wondering, yes I'm super anal and I have to plan every little detail and play it back in my head fifty times.. lol

Seriously speaking Tammy...I think it would be nice for you to have a table for signing/fingerprinting etc; as well as any other ideas you have (guest book, pictures, flowers, etc). Are you planning a sand ceremony or something similar? If so, I would definitely go for a table draped simply. If not, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Regarding the canopy situation, there are some crafty people that have actually made their own & brought with them to their DW wedding. I started to look into that but it just seemed like too much for me. Let me take a look & see if I saved any resources for that.

And then on the rose petal idea, it might be cool to do a "circle of love" with the petals. You & Cain would stand inside the circle of petals during your ceremony. I've seen this done at beach weddings & thought it was a nice feature. That way you don't have to worry about where the trail of petals needs to go, cuz it will just wrap right around you two little love birds!

Cute idea Christa with the "circle of love". That could be really cute an unique. I love after looking at all the cabo wedding seeing something that sets it apart from the others. Yes most of the pictures will have similar shots but something unique to us. MeganB posted a really cool picture of her and her hubbys hand print in the sand with their wedding band on the finger it would belong on in the sand. It was a very cute idea and something that is a unique to their wedding.

Hmmm I wonder if I could do the table along with the "circle of love" hmmm something to think about.

We are having a small table for legal papers. It was included in the package of the legal ceremony.

I was thinking something like the circle of love (though I didn't think of such a clever name!). On the Hilton's website here is a really nice version that looks very simple to put together (for your WC):
Click the image to open in full size.

I actually have two of these in my house that I painted and then put a glass tops on (they sell the glass if you want it but I don't think you need it. Honestly it's not even that heavy - you could just bring it with you and give it to your WC the day before...

That is a good idea, plus their cheap, and the cloths that go over it are standard size, I could add a prett sheer olive green to it too, so it dresses it up a bit more. Hmmm I think I read in someone's thread that their is a store on the way from the airport to downtown Cabo, kind of like a walmart.. I wonder if they have one, and I could just ask my WC to hold onto it for me.
