Any ideas, info, help, advice would be VERY MUCH appreaciated xx
Congratulations and welcome to the forum!! I am more then likely going to be a 2011 bride as well!!! Strill trying to pick the resort...and then the date will fall into place. Dreams Cancun and Moon Palance are two of my possibilities right now too! I haven't heard anything about the resorts at DC being limited for children...that would also impact my decision as we'll definitely have kids as party of our group. And the gazebo is very beautiful!! It is VERY windy too...not sure if that is a negative to your or not....I would like to wear my hair down for the ceremony...which would be tough with high winds!!

I'm not sure if you are aware, but palace resorts "rewards" you for the number of room/nights your party books...including 7 free nights for you and hubby....and up to unlimited free private events for your group if 25 rooms or 75 nights are booked. Great deal if you are having lots of people come...and would like to do welcome dinner, cocktail hour, and private wedding reception!! At Moon Palace...because there are 3 sections....there are 14 restuarants...so that shouldn't be an issue to have sufficient choices!

There are quite a few Wedding Reviews of Moon Palace you can check out that go into detail about where they had their ceremonies....I believe Moon Palace has a gazebo as well...it isn't out on pier like Dreams Cancun...but it's still very pretty.

Best of luck in your planning!!

congrats and welcome! There's so much info on here once you start poking around all of the posts you'll find new ideas and questions answered that you hadn't even thought of yet. I'm sorry I don't have any info on Mexico weddings (I'm going to Punta Cana) but do a search of the posts and hopefully you'll find some answers! Good luck with all of your planning.

Dreams Cancun!!!! I'm biased. Actually, it isn't even official for me yet. I hate waiting for emails from there! Although, I hear moon palace lets you do fireworks, and I'm kinda sad about them extending the beach at Dreams Cancun (the gazebo used to be surrounded by three sides of water, but now it's more like 2 - 2 1/2 with rocks because they fixed the beach. I'm still excited though. Hope that give you some info!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
