I specified several times I wanted "Real Touch" for ALL the flowers - some of them definitely aren't (like the roses). The calla lillies and peonies were really nice and I liked the bouquet overall, I'm confident it will look nice in pics but if you are really picky about your flower quality then you might be a bit disappointed. Overall, if I had known what the end product would be I think the flowers at Michael's are almost as nice and I could have done it myself so I probably wouldn't order for them if I had to do it all over again.
Best of luck ladies! I will try to post a pic when I think of it.
Do you still plan to use them? How significant was the cost savings? I have been debating and I'm not certain they will be worth it in the end, I think I may pay just more for real flowers as I would hate to spend all that and not be happy with it.

Hi there,
Yes - I'm still planning to use them. Honestly the cost difference wasn't really why I decided to go with real touch, I used them because they had flowers/color choices that the resort I chose does not have. I am getting married in a remote area in Cuba and their flower selection isn't the greatest - I really wanted orchids. The resort I am going to only has a few flower options, I am still planning to buy my BM bouquets from the resort because I just want simple calla lillies for them (which is hard to mess up). My real touch bouquet is more expensive than the options my resort has (it was about $120 dollars inc shipping).

Good luck deciding, I would try to find out as much as possible about the area you are going to and what is available before deciding. Some resorts seem to charge A LOT for flowers, so this might be more economical for you. :)

Thanks for posting this site. I am still debating on real flowers vs real touch, but I am leaning towards real touch for the same reason as sjmacphe, I am going to Cuba and the resort I am going to doesnt have as much choice for flowers and I am specific on my colour! Still waiting to hear back from them tos ee if they will plant orange flowers for me to use in Oct as I heard from another few brides that their resort was able to do that for them. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

The calla lilly bouts we got were what I was expecting real touch to be, you couldn't even tell they weren't real, they were fabulous. They did do a beautiful job arranging the boquet though. And the bouts and corsages we got were also beautiful.

It all worked out because in photos you can't tell they aren't real. I love how they look in the photos, (even close up ones) they just pop and I have gotten several compliments on them from people who have seen my photos.

I would still recommend this company 100%. They are an absolute pleasure to deal with, and are great at responding quickly by email and phone. The prices also seemed very reasonable.

My advice would be to go see the flowers they are going to use in person if possible, as the quality in mine varied quite a bit from flower type to flower type. If you are too far to go to the shop, just specify very clearly that you only want all real touch and absolutely no silk or other types.
thanks for letting us know. i just recently put a deposit down for my flowers from them. They did tell me that there will be a mix of silks and real touch for the types of flowers I would like but from what I gather here, the pros out weigh the cons, and based on your experience, I know kind of what to expect.

thanks!

I just got back from Hamilton where I visited Enchanted Memories (I live an hour away so I wanted to see the real touch flowers for myself). Deb had a big assortment of flowers for me to look at. I showed her some pics of bouquets that I liked. She told me which flowers were available in real touch and which ones weren't. I didn't have to ask or prompt her - she was quite up front stating that if I wanted a specific flower it would look good in pics but would not look/feel like real touch in person.

I mentioned that I wanted a gerber but in orange. She actually sprayed the gerber right there and then so I could see what it looked like. What a sweet heart!

With Deb's help, I picked some great flowers and am really excited to see how it all turns out! I have had nothing but great service from this company and look forward to receiving my bouquet!

Oh, and I also saw some of the other bridal bouquets she is currently working on. They were gorgeous! I. Just. Can't. Wait.

Hi BrideMichele,

Did you have to make an appointment to meet them or did you just drop in? I am thinking of going next weekend as well when my MOH is here.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
