I served filet and lobster.  Our rehearsal dinner was very simple.  White linens, white chairs, white flowers.  We brought our own hot pink table runners.  Don't be nervous, they will do a great job!!!!  Sorry I have not sent pics yet...I am still editing.  It has been a nightmare!!!  I had about 50 people there...here is a pic of the rehearsal dinner set up...

Missy ,

I did my rehersal dinner at the International Resturant. They wont charge you extra for it but you have to have a set menu. I had steak and shrimp as the main course and everyone seemed to like it. They did an excellent job. The chef came out to greet us , they made us personalized menus with our names on them. There was a live saxaphonist. It was amazing. Afterwards we all went to the bar by the pool and hung out.

My wedding planner was the resort wedding planner and her name is Sandra. I dont think anyone could have done a better job.

This dam site isnt letting me upload my photos !!

 Girls!!!

I can NOT thank you enough! We leave in 17 days and it is CRAZY how many last minute details there are. I really appreciate your advice and tips. I honestly don't know how the hell we are getting all our stuff down there but whatever. Do you know if you have to pay an extra fee for the dress on the plane? I guess it is what it is at this point....(sigh)  charge it to the game. lol So Sandra is through the resort as well? I have Diana but she has been absolutely amazing so far so no complaints. Now I just need to starve myself for the next 17 days and I'm all set! hahahaha We did decide to do the Coco Bongo after party and from Lindsey's review it sounds great. It is only 20 of us my closest friends and family so it shouldn't be too trashy ?!?!? lol

Also, how are you holding up MissyK?  I know I am stressing and I still have a few months, lol.  I imagine you are really stressed.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
