LE BLANC-Just had to brag...

Recommended Posts

Ok girls, the DJ IS SO WORTH the $1300!!!!  He really was amazing!!!!!  His song selection was awesome, and everyone had a blast!  I didn't give him ANY direction, and he did a fabulous job!  All I gave him was my list of father-daughter, first dance, cake, etc.  Everything flowed perfectly!

Ok, about Melissa Gomez...if you thought she was your lifeline, then just wait for DIANA!!!!  OMG, AMAZING!!!!  Just wait til you are 2-3 months away from your wedding, and she will DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU!  She will answer any questions you could possibly have!  The entire staff will go out of their way to do anything you desire.  They even went to costco and got us red bull one day after a long day at the pool...seriously!!  Diana went to 5 stores looking for sparklers for me...I am telling yall, they are a FIRST CLASS RESORT!  You have NOTHING to worry about!  I promise I am posting my review soon...I was waiting on my wedding pics, and I FINALLY got them back!!!!!

DO NOT do your ipod!!!  That will be miserable.  People will be changing the songs, and you will worry about it all night.  Pay the $1300 and use the onsite DJ.  He is WONDERFUL!!!!!  I had my ceremony at the gazebo...it was breathtaking.  I recommend having your ceremony there and maybe a cocktail party on the beach.  We had our welcome party out there!  It was a lot of fun!  My reception was on the rooftop (Blancwind Terrace)...AHMAZING!!!  I flew my own photographer in...www.laurenharrisphotography.  Her pictures are great, but I do NOT recommend her!!!!!

Lindsey, you are just teasing with the few pictures! I want to see more! You looked sooo beautiful, the table settings were incredible and Le Blanc was really the most perfect backdrop and setting for your wedding. I am so glad that was the resort you picked!!

Last night I attended a seminar put on by Palace Resorts, and all of the Palace Resorts including Le Blanc are offering a bonus of $1,500 per couple to be used on site for tours, spa, wind, and room upgrades on stays of 5 nights or more... what a nice bonus!

Also, as you know, if I book it as a group, the bride and groom can get a $250 bonus back from the tour operator after the trip is over.

It was so much fun to work with you and your guests... Thank you again for allowing me to be of help to you!

Why would you not recommend your photographer? Did she get drunk during your wedding or something unprofessional?

APPARENTLY I can't stop asking you questions!!!! LOL! I just have to know would you recommend using a travel agent for those people who haven't booked yet? Are they able to get some sort of better deal?!?!?! Honestly, I know it is expensive at the Le Blanc but if I could get my guests a better deal that would be AWESOME!

Also, I love your style and I was wondering if you did welcome bags or had any good ideas to do for guests?!?!

Thanks girl! xoxox

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
