LE BLANC-Just had to brag...

Recommended Posts

Hi girls, I just wanted to send out a quick "brag" about Le Blanc. Melissa Gomez has been absolutely fabulous to work with!!! She literally gets back to me within 5 minutes of me emailing, regardless of the urgency of the question. Even though I have only been dealing with the resort for a few months, everyone has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make me feel like their only bride!!! If anyone is looking for a resort, I HIGHLY recommend them. Yes, it may be a little more expensive for your guests, but so far the service has been impeccable...not to mention how gorgeous and fabulous the resort looks!!!

Le Blanc was actually our first choice! And Melissa always responded quickly to me too, when I first inquired about their weddings. Alas, the cost is too much for our guests, so we had to look elsewhere (and we'd have a number of guests staying at another location, so there goes the 10% non-resort guest capacity). But it's great to see someone on BDW is getting married there! The videos on youtube of weddings there are beautiful. I love the privacy of the place! Keep the board updated on your wedding there!

I will for sure! I have not seen the youtube videos...thanks for telling me about that! Yeah, I am kinda nervous about the 10%, but we will see! I ended up getting a better deal than the $568 or whatever it was, but it is still expensive!!! Where did you decide to get married?

Yeah, I really hope most of your guests can stay there! I'll cross my fingers for you.

We ended compromising too; It will be the Grand Caribe for the ceremony/reception. But we're still contemplating if we should transfer over to the Le Blanc or to the Royal Cancun for the honeymoon portion of our trip. We're actually going to make a trip to Cancun in a couple months for the FI's company, so Le Blanc will be one of our site visits JUST in case we may want to change our minds last minute. We just love the photos of the property at Le BLanc. Boutique, white, clean... that infinity pool is to die for.

Keep us posted!!!

You have great taste! I actually am moving to Le Blanc after my wedding for my honeymoon and I stayed at The Royal Cancun in March 2008 for a week long vacation. My top two choices for a wedding were The Royal and Le Blanc, too pricey though. The Royal is FABULOUS, you'd love it, it was like paradise. Can't say enough good things about that resort, I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Yall, I may not have any friends after this is all said and done! haha Hopefully, they won't hate me forever. Everyone that is staying 7 nights is moving to a cheaper resort on Sunday. All my friends kept saying; PICK WHATEVER RESORT YOU WANT and STOP BUGGING US ABOUT IT! hahaha SO I am holding them to it. It ends up being $2100 for 3 nights and airfare for 2 people. Ouch!!!!! At least it is all inclusive I guess. And the way my friends drink, they would probably run that up anyways! hahaha Pray they don't hate me forever though...wink.gif

JPLOVESME-Oh! I love both of those resorts! You definitely can't go wrong with either one of those! Hey, would you like to come join our "Azul Sensatori Thread?" The girls are awesome and give great advice, ideas, feedback, etc. I stayed on the thread, even after I decided to head to Le Blanc! So, come on over! ha

ooooo, thanks! going over to that thread too! And good call on just booking the Le BLac, if your friends say to do what u want. A few friends said the same, but even $2100 with all included was too much for 3 nights. but who knows... still up in the air!

Thanks for the feedback! I can't wait to go visit there in a couple months. Our wedding date isn't till next Jan 2011, so hopefully we'll feel fine about either the Royal or the Gran Caribe. GOod thing the Royal lets Gran Caribe guests on campus ... well, only the ones who pay the higher price. But that's why the Royal is so exclusive! I think I want to go to the Le BLanc for the honeymoon too. A few other brides here are doing the same. I KNOW that when we visit Le BLanc to check it out, we'll probably decide to do that. But good to know you loved the Royal too!

  • 1 month later...

Hi ! We are getting married at Le Blanc too. It took me about a year to decide but I am happy we chose it. It is pretty pricey but I got a deal for 800 for 3 nights for my guests ( not including airfare ) which ended up being only about 200 more than the other places we were looking. The fact that they do only one wedding a day is what really made it worth it. I didnt want to be one of the 5 weddings that day.

What package are you doing ? It sooo hard to decide !

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
