Airport Transfers - anyone have a group package??

Recommended Posts

I was searching about 6 months ago for airport transfers and found a company where I could pay up front for the transfers and they would pick people up as they came in. Many of the group transfers that I see online are when everyone comes in at the same time. I just can't see spending $40 per person for a round trip transfer, it just seems like a lot of money.

Anyone have any ideas?

Contact Ismael at Sauce Vacations (reservations@saucevacations.com) and he would be more than happy to work with you.

His company provided airport transfer for some of our guests that arrived/departed on different flights but Ismael was extremely flexible and accommodated all our requests to save everyone money on the transfer.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Just be carefull ..if something looks too good to be true, IT USUALLY IS!

In fact there are many companies in Cancun operating without insurance...it has been an issue now with internet booking where authorities do not have control on what is offered. For example if a company doesn't load the van inside the appropriate area...something is wrong..and they are many like these!

There has been some big accidents involving tourist lately....and that insurance thing is important!

To come back to your main question: so a deal wityh a cab company...mmm...doesnt really exist...special prices sounds better but again for individual arrival there is not a real solution except combining flights or use the official airport shuttle

We used USA transfers for our group. Together a representative and myself coordinated 35 transfers of small groups coming and going at separate times. While I created a spreadsheet, I understand they will do that as well, it just requires getting them all the flight info. There are several ways to take care of payment (one large payment, or separate cash payments upon arrival and departures). My group transferred from the Cancun airport to Riviera Maya Barcelo Resorts and the price for private round trip transfers ranged from $14 per person to $42 USD per person. All cars were on time, drivers polite and friendly and clean cars.

Hope that helps!

Well said Breens...what you need is a good coordination...once you have everyones flight is just matter of combining them...for departures it is much easier since most of the flights leave in the mid-morning /early afternoon sos you can concentrate them a bite more.

USA transfer is a reliable one as is AGI for example (AGI Tours - Cancun - Ground Transportation Services and Professional Tour Guide Services)

I've heard great things about this company. We are paying for airport transfers for our guest and their prices are the most reasonable.

We are using Dream Days for pickup and then the included van returns from Travel Impressions on the way back

We were able to get three 7 person SUVs and one 12 person stretch limo for under $550

Here is their info:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
