I see no reason why you could not. You have to pay a retainer to (some of?) them just because they can do all this work for you and if you do not book through them, they can keep it for their services. If you DO book through them, you get the money back. But they handle all the bookings for you and you pay them, in turn they pay the airlines, resort, etc. Hope that helps!

Hi JPlovesme!

I looked through teh request from BDW and i hadn't received one from you-I am wondering of with teh upgrades and maintainence if there was an issue and it didn't come through.

After meeting with a travel agent here yesterday I think I definitely want to go with one who specializes in DW's. The lady we went to see had no clue, I knew more then her about the location, what was required,etc. Every question we asked she didn't know how to answer. Both FI and I are quite laid back but walked out of the building and both agreed that we needed someone else, so I will wait for a response from one of the TA's on the site! Can't wait. We did manage to pick up some catalogs though so can start looking at resorts ourselves!

JP, you did send an inquiry in and the agent responded to you on 1/19.

the agents on the forum DO NOT compete with each other. if there is a reason why you are unhappy with the agent, that is one thing but this other agent did respond to you.

Thanks for the heads up! And I double checked my email from 1/19, and didn't see any emails (Inbox nor Spam folder) from any agent. I'm not unhappy with the agent at all, especially with all the maintenance and upgrades going on with the BDW server. There may be something going on with the link above, since TA Jennifer said she didn't receive any info from me. Not a big deal - I'm just happy to be directed to TA Jennifer now.

 

I'm sending TA Jennifer a personal email to get things started, and i'm totally excited to work with her since she got great reviews from other BDW users.

I just got an email from Pauline as I am in Canada and sent her all kinds of questions and specifics about what we need. I am in Ottawa and she is not. Has anyone used her recently? Has anyone had any problems using a TA not in your area?

I have so many issues with TA, I can't find one that responds on time and that it is helpfull. so frustrating..

The two TA's are just regular agents, not from BDW. I tried submitting the form for BDW TA twice but no response yet from anyone... :-(
