Where are my Edmonton, AB ladies at?

Id just go and wingi t, get a feel of the shops, see who you like more, and even though a lot of stores sell the same designers, the actual gown styles are VERY different. Go some afternoon when you're bored to check it out!  Calling ahead would be alright but it would be hard to know what the actual dress is by description, and all stores I've been to have a sales(off the) rack.

Thanks for the suggestions on places to look, ladies. Just bought my Maggie dress at Bridal Debut in Sherwood Park - off the rack - yipee!! It was discontinued, so it was marked down and in wicked shape!

Novelle Bridal was great too - I would definitely recommend it. I had two chosen from there that I loved, but then as soon as I tried on the Maggie at Bridal Debut, I fell in love with that.

Anyone wait in that long line to get into Victoria Secret? I was in WEM yesterday and thought I'd check it out, but didn't have the time to stand in line. The store looks awesome though and I'm wondering if anyone knows if they carry any of their dresses there? It mostly looked like bras/lingerie and stuff from the PINK line when I walked by. Just wondering for BM dress possibilities.

My girlfriend lives RIGHT by there and was there yesterday and she said its only bras/lingerie with a few of their sweats and stuff, then a whole bunch of product, so no I don't think they will have the clothes, which sucks beacuse they are super cute.  Anyways in the end it would probably be the same to order it online with shipping, I bet they're marking up the prices like MAD!  What were you doing in Edmonton?   My girlfriend picked the dresses and we ordered them online, we got by far the best deal.

I went to Victoria's Secret yesterday. The line to get in was short--we only waited 5 minutes. There are tons of bras, lingerie etc and the Pink side just has the sweats and stuff. No dresses. Lots of perfume and makeup product though. I found the girls there super helpful and ended up buying a couple new bras. I would go back, but think I will wait until the madness dies down!

I'm getting married Feb, 2011 in the Mayan. I am a photographer and so naturally very picky... luckily I have business partners that I will bring to photograph my wedding...

Check out www.slatephoto.ca   As far as pricing, you pay for our trip and get digital negatives for that as well you can get prints or albums for cost.... just a thought!

We got all of the groosmen's clothing this weekend for the wedding! Yay, something to check off this list! We got the shirts at Le Chateau and the pants at Coliseum in West Ed. My FI got his suit there too, thank God, I was getting annoyed with him because he procastinated and we couldn't find anything in his size. He is a giant, like super tall, so finding things on a regualr basis is difficult. He just needs to get a shirt and a tie.

Now all we have to get for the GM is footwear and they seem to all want different things. Surprisingly the guys are kind of being drama cases about what they want to wear, you would think it would be the girls.

Next stop is Allana's (spelling?) to look for bm dresses and bridal debut for me. I went to Crystals Bridal in the North side on the weekend, nice store and nice staff but very small selection.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
