Hi ladies! I'm another Edmonton bride! Our wedding is next month!

I got my dress on ebay :) Check out my pictures here!! - > http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ml#post1210668

We went to a few places in WEM when I was first trying to decide what I wanted. Sposabella was a waste of time and I was annoyed in about 5 minutes. They were rude, unhelpful and too interested in gossiping than helping us at all. My MOH had to keep bringing me stuff because the girl kept wandering away.

Bridal Debut was really helpful but in the end, I couldnt decide what I wanted in time to order it so I had my dress made on ebay instead for a fraction of the price cheesy.gif

Hey ladies,

I am from just outside of Edmonton. I got my dress at Bridal Debut in Sherwood park and they were so helpful. I paid about 1000 for my maggie. I found it for 100 cheaper in calgary but that would be a huge pain to drive back and forth. I haven't had my dress fitting yet and my wedding is in May, but i have been in Germany for the last 7 months. I can't wait to be home to try on my dress, and i hope i still like it :S

Thanks for the tips ladies! Has anyone gone dress shopping on their own? I went alone the first time, FI and I are seriously considering eloping and I want to keep it a secret from others until we return. Did you find you had a lot of opinions from others that helped you make the best decision?

hey another edmonton bride to be! I also didn't like the service (or lack of service) i got when i went to sposabella. i found my dress for only $895 at ethos bridal. they were super friendly there. as for dress shopping - i went with my mom and no one else i just thought it would be a nice thing to do with just my mom and I. i also heard of another site called jenniferscottbridal.com and apparently the dresses on that site are less than $455 cdn!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
