Hi, I am trying to decide what to do about reception music for my Provo wedding... does anyone have any info about Island Boys? I can't find any contact number or website online and wondering how to book them? Also does anyone know of a local DJ who is good in case we go that route instead? Thanks so much!

Hi, I am at home right now and don't have info in front of me. If you want to email Ileana@tropicalimaging.com, I know she can give you a run down of music options available and how to get in touch(and I am sure she'll give you an opinion on what we see works for what you are looking for. ) There aren't a ton of options on island available but most are distinctly different in style and music, so she can maybe direct you to someone who works for you.

Just give her a quick email, She won't be in the office tomorrow but will be in on Monday (tell her Krys gave you the contact info from BDW).

Hi there! I am also getting married in Turks & Caicos and we are in the process of choosing either a band or DJ for our small reception dinner. My wedding planner did let me know that most bands are around $500/hr and a great is DJ is about $200/hr.

I will let you know what else I find out!

I'm resurrecting this thread in the hopes that someone will offer recent reviews of T&C DJs.  Any thoughts?  Recommendations?

I'm hoping for someone that will hopefully stick to the list of songs we provide...or even just play from our ipod (i.e. no chicken dance).   Not looking for island music.

Thank you in advance, ladies!

We got married in March and used DJ William from subtronic sound.  He was GREAT.  We provided a list of songs (8 hours worth) for him to play, and he stuck to it, but played what he thought was good depending on the time of night.  We highly recommend him!  We didn't have him scheduled for our after party, but he offered to DJ there too (which we did).  We got so many compliments on what a great job he did!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
