Please HELP!!!

On top of tryin to plan my own wedding, I have to plan their wedding.

My friend wants to have a 12/2010 wedding in MAUI!

For some reason they don't want to plan they expect everything to come together on its own. Our friends and their family are wondering if the wedding is even going to happen because they have been engaged for 3 years ($$ is not an issue) I'm a good friend and i would like some ideas (Where to stay, ceremony site, luau reception) so i can get the ball rolling.

Thanks

Wow, that's bananas!

I wish you luck, but don't overwhelm yourself with someone else's wedding.

We are also getting married in Hawaii, but Oahu not Maui. My suggestion would be to set your friend up with a wedding coordinator and travel agent. There are lots of travel agents on this site that I'm sure would be able to help your friend.

When is your wedding? Why are you planning her wedding?!! Stand up for yourself!! You should let her know that you're willing to help but you can't commit to planning her entire wedding... especially if money isn't an issue!! HELLO, that's what wedding planners are for! :-) Maybe you could ask one of the TA's on here to contact her. Good luck!

First and foremost is YOUR Wedding. You are going to have enough on your plate with that alone. I understand being a good friend and all, so If you have a little extra to give, then by all means help your friend. But don't wear yourself into the ground.. the stress might show on your pics. Let her know you can do your best but not to expect a miracle.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
