Hi all,

I initally booked RIU Tropical Bay resort Negril Jamaica but changed my mind and lost our deposit :-( I have now booked Rose Hall Resort and Spa Montego Bay Jamaica I do feel like changing my mind again but my guests have already booked :-) ( my boyfriend was putting me under some pressure to book for his family and ended up making a panic booking )

I must laugh or I will cry. Had no idea that I t could be so hard I thought if your going abroad you book and go its not that simple ladies.

Good tip for anyone booking for next year there are great sales for Travel Agents in Janauary if you book before that there could be upto 1k in the difference of the booking !!!

If any one has any tips about Rose Hall would love to hear from you.

I would like to get married at the Aquaduct I think this could add an extra 1k to the costs if any one knows please let me know.

I have also spotted a La Sposa wedding dress lovely it has lots of ruffles at the bottem and top but not too sure if I would look OTT but I think that is my style I tried on something simple it was nice but was not me.smile03.gif

I AM IN NEED OF SOME HELP THANKS IN ADVANCE ALL XXX

Congrats and happy planning!! I'm getting married at Rose Hall Resort in May. I had a site visit last month and it's a beautiful resort. If you have any questions let me know. Also, there's a Rose Hall thread where you can probably get a lot of questions answered since there are quite a few Rose Hall brides on here.

We're getting married right on the beach. We haven't decided on the reception yet but we're leaning towards having a private reception. Just not sure where yet. Waiting on everyone to book so we'll know how many people we're having.

I saw an Aqueduct wedding (from our balcony) while there this summer. It looked beautiful. The resort is quite nice, as I recall, they have a couple of gazebos for weddings as well, one by the beach and one in a garden setting. I probably have pics. IF you want I can email them to you. we opted for the iberostar suites very close by (mainly because the beach at RH Hilton was rocky and not enjoyable which is very important for my FI). I haven't figured out how to post pics yet (I'm a newbie too).

hi,

welcome to the site :)

congrats on your upcoming wedding and HAPPY PLANNING!!

I'd go for the dress you WANT - you decide if it's over the top or not, and the great thing with a DW is it's not traditional so you can get away with doing anything you want as no-one really knows what to expect! that is the dress you need to feel stunning in, and if that's what feels right, that's what you should have :) Good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
