I met with Lissy Lamp when I was in Aruba either this year and she was rude.  Her email correspondence was great, but I was not impressed when I met her.  I ended up meeting with Lorraine Versteeg from Aruba Wedding for You and she was amazing! We ended up signing our contract with her.  

 

Who did you speak with about catering?  I am working with Divi catering people now but I am just afraid that I am missing something!

How funny! I also met with Lorraine Versteeg and was not impressed with her. Too wishy-washy for me. She was the planner that the Divi All-Inclusive's website lists, but we asked Lissy Lampe if she could do it instead. To be fair, Lissy does have a practical, straight forward way about her, but so do I. Regardless of her personality, her execution was great.

 

My reception was at the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort (ceremony was across the street, on the beach at the Divi/Tamerijn All-Inclusive). For the catering aspect, we dealt with Marcel Nahr. He's the Food and Beverage Manager for that resort. He was very good. Very welcoming and warm. Never made us feel that any of our modifications were troublesome. you are getting married 7 days before me I am getting married @ the Divi Phoenix 4/17/12 you don't know how happy I am to see another Divi bride on here I am actually working with Aruba Weddings by Bonny and so far everything has been great. I emailed the wedding planners @ the Divi over 4 months ago 3x and still have yet to hear back   How is the planning going? I am trying to figure it all out now picking the food flowers and such. Are you getting your hair done there? I need a place for my BM to get there hair done I have my hairdresser/friend coming and she is doing my hair.  are you having your reception on the beach? YAY happy planning !!!
