Bringing items down for relief aid for Haiti

    I think that's a great idea. I want to look into doing something similar.

      Dolfinluck, thanks so much for posting this. My fiance is Haitian but lives/works in the DR, he was visiting Haiti for the first time in 2 years when the quake hit. Needless to say there were many a paniked days and phonecalls.

      Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that although the borders are a little tricky right now, you are still able to transport items into Haiti safely; I know this because I spent 3 days/2 nights out of my 8 day trip in Haiti assisting my soon to be in-laws.

      Medical supplies (gauze, tylenol, advil, neosporin are in desperate need. Other items, especially shoes are welcomed as well).
