Hi! I thought I would tap into the wealth of knowledge out there on Aruba. I am looking at booking October for the Marriott, and due to lodging issues with my family it looks like I might need to look into early November. Are there any issues out there I should worry about regarding the timing? I guess that is one of the reasons Aruba is so wonderful, its always nice weather. Are there any issues with room costs, air flights, weather, etc I should think about regarding October/November?

    Thanks for sharing!

My fiance and I went to Aruba in 2008 during Thanksgiving week. It rained consistently (not just a shower) for the first 4 days then it was bright sunny and hot the last four days. I think it was something like the 24th throught the 2nd of december. People kept assuring us it never rains like this in Aruba. Go figure. Good luck with your planning. We loved Aruba once the sun came out. We stayed at the Riu Palace and it was great!

My FI and I are getting married in Aruba this October. We have our flights, resort stay, and wedding locations booked and so far so good. We never been so I don’t know from experience. From what I am told by people who have been there that it is always gorgeous, windy year round, an dif it rains it only does for like 5 minutes or something.

That’s horrible it rained fro 4 days straight! Like I said I don’t know Aruba, but from what I heard that is out of the norm.

We're also planning a wedding Aruba and have never been there. I hear that the weather is beautiful all year round.

We were just there for a wedding at the Renassiance a few weeks ago and it was a beautiful location. I would try not to fly around the Thanksgiving holiday. Aruba is a a wonderful place to get married though! Happy planning :)
