Cabo in October???

My fiance and I really are hoping to do Cabo in October, on a budget!!!

 

Initially we thought an AI was the way to go and have been thinking about the Crowne Plaza........ I really like the smaller feel, definitely want the ceremony on the beach, etc.

 

Looking in the forums and online just now thinking about Cabo Surf hotel or Marbella en la playa. Any thoughts?

 

We will probably have 40-50 people and $10,000 budget. We would ideally like to be able to do a welcome cocktail hour, rehearsal and brunch the day after for everyone.

 

Any help would be appreciated, I do not think we will get a chance to go down there before the wedding.

Congrats and welcome. My 2 cents on Cabo in October is that it is generally very hot. We were there for site visits in early October 2009, and it was about 95 every day. It was also humid and rained twice while we were there. Just something to be aware of in your planning. It can certainly be done, but you may want to look into an indoor reception, or one later in the day once it's a bit cooler out. Good Luck!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
