Your wedding song

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what some of you picked for your wedding song. I had some ideas but of course I'm looking for that "one really original song."

These are some thoughts:

1. 100 Years - Five for Fighting

2. You and I - Celine Dion

3. All I want is you - U2 (This is a little old, from the 90's.)

we're using rascal flatts "bless the broken road" it so closely fits our relationship its the perfect song for us. I had contemplated "I'll stand by you" by the pretenders (I've always loved this song!) but the other song just fits so well, its so perfect. So I'll just have to play the pretenders song later in the night for us to dance to.

I also really love this song Camila - Todo Cambio

After much debate we are using Awake by Secondhand Serenade.

I love the U2 song, I hate Celine, so I am the wrong person to ask about her. It is a harder decision then you think isn't it? What does your fi want?

Here's an idea, play them all, and dance in your livingroom with your fi, see which one feels right! Good excuse for a little romance as well...msnwink.gif

I really LOVE "By Your Side" by Sade and "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk (from The Notebook).

Who knows, we may have two dances!

ahhh. I am listening to "Feels Like Home" right now on YouTube and am getting teary-eyed! fryingpan.gif

I love RF. "Bless the Broken Road" will definitely make it into reception music. We are using RF's "My Wish" for the bridal party song.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
