Let me know if you have any luck! My mom is calling our TA friend from Marlin Travel tommorow and she should have some more info on when the prices come out for 2011.

Hi Kate...Congrats on 'almost' finalizing the details! I actually am interested in Dreams PV for around the same time, and I was wondering if you could help me on how to get started. Are you booking directly through Dreams or with a travel agent? Anything you can tell me would be great....maybe we can share tips!! Thanks!

Hi ladies! I think I'm going to be a 2011 bride, so thought I'd join in. I was considering Dec. 2010, but it doesn't look like it will work out ~ so we're leaning toward January. I'm considering Dreams, but we're not booked yet, so I am taking some time to research other options. Your ideas & opinions on different All Inc WD in PV would be great! Thanks : )

Hey Sunshine! Welcome and congrats! Where in Washington are you from? I live in Marysville :)

I swear, every time I think I've found "the" place, I hear something about it that makes me change my mind, or it's too expensive, or...you get the picture. I'm hoping to have prices next week, and I think I'll make my decision at that point *hopefully* and stick to it wink.gif

I am planning a 2011 wedding as well and can't seem to decide between, RIU, Dreams and Marival...... all the wedding packages seem great and the pics are breathtaking. I have only been to Mazatlan and my fiance lived in Cabo for a brief stint but I could not get over the greenery of PV. It sold me in a second. As mentioned b4 in the thread some travel agencies are having troubles getting prices but the ones that really want your business can make it happen.

Happy planning ladies!!!

Crysital!! Dreams Puerto Vallarta is the best choise!! i was there a couple of weeks ago to see if is my perfect place and it is!! the beach is PRIVATE and huge, variety of pools, one in the middle of garden, the family one, the service is remarcable, the room at the preferred tower is amaizing and OMG THE SUNSETS !! are the most amaizing sunsets ever!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
