Julie,

Oh yes! I am his first daughter...u can imagine! If he is older, I can picture him sitting on a rocking chair at the front yard, with a gun and a beer (of course the shovel is next to him) waiting for the boy who drove me home!

Ladies,

like I said...Mexicano Muzzies are choosy eaters, so unless u are next to bug faves, bring the ThermalCell or buy the muzzies spray in Mexico!

Michelle, Thats great... £800 is a fab discount.. Again congrats on getting the palce you want, bet your both so made up :-) Gosh your MIL sounds a right pain.... I hope you make up soon and she lets you get on with it!!! its awful when people do that!!! :-( Were quite lucky compared to some of you guys, my parents and stephens parents just let us get on with it.... I really hope she gets over it soon!!!! xox

Linhy... i agree, im sure all our days will come together perfectly, and we will all wonder what some of the stuff we worried about sometimes was all about!!! hehe x

Mischaka, i agree with linhy, your website is fab :-) There a few fab free wedding websites, i used momentville, and like you wth mywedding.com, i found it dead easy to use... never thought at all to do a wedding website at all but after seeing a few on here i thought "why not" :-)

Im just at a loose end now.... getting so annoyed at the prices not being avaiable, just feel i cant do anything else until we have wedding booked.... I did buy 1 or 2 things yesterday for OOT bags but not sure what to do with these properly yet? I just bought some insect repellent (just incase... i get bitten like mad where and when ever we go away) not sure what Mexico is like for mosquitos but i am being prepared no matter what. some lip balm and some antibacterial wipes... hmmm... nothing much of interest really.
Not that you really wana see but here is my legs/feet after 3/4 days in Cuba.....

smile43.gif I was in agony, especially at night!!!!!

So I was thinking of putting as part of my welcome tote bag is a water bottle sweater with a water bottle. Since my theme is eco friendly and reuseable. What do you all think?a>

Something similar to it.. been trying to find something that will represent our wedding theme more. Else each guest will get a little one. Plus they can use it if they drink coffee or hot tea so it can keep warm.

Yes we are soooo pleased. The hotel (Thistle Brands Hatch) is lovely and the room is gorgeous. Goes with our summer wedding theme! Very happy. Everytime i think of it i smile. It's a lovely feeling. I wil be on cloud nine when we've booked Mexico. I can hardly wait any longer......

Oh yes she is a pain. She is lovely when she's getting her own way but as soon as someone does something she doesn't like/agree with the nasty side comes out. She's the only girl with 3 brothers and has always been the princess that NOBODY upsets....She is very controlling. But this is the worst it's ever been. I like Prettypigpig have learnt my lesson and i'm staying away. I'm not going to let her upset me over my wedding and think i'm better off keeping my distance!

Those bites look sooooo sore. OUCH! You poor thing. Hope you don't get bit like that in Mexico!

I haven't even thought about what to put in my OOT bags..... I might wait to see how many are definately coming first and then decide!

The bottle sweaters are so cute, but it won't be that practical. Wool sweater looks odd on the beach...How about Eco-Friendly sun lotion or thermal mugs for beers/drinks so people will not use 10 small plastic cups per day? I prefer to give/receive things that I would use.
Jan-Feb aren't that bad for muzzies and bugs, you may still get a few bites, but not as dramatic as "eaten alive".

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
