I have a hair style in mind i will try and upload the picture see what you girls think!

Mexbride83 - we may become date twins as i have "on hold" 28th May 2011. Can i ask... are you having a legal ceremony?? I'm waiting to hear back from the WC as i read on one email legal's cant go ahead on a saturday in Mexico so just want to confirm with her....

ahollo02 - i would do the same. It is a big difference in price and you are right to proritise things and get exactly what you want!

We have just booked in to see our last venue for viewing on sunday afternoon so by the end of this weekend we should have made a decision on the AHR! whoop whoop!

Hmmmmm, just had a thought, i think i will have to change the style if i have a hair vine as if ive got my backdrop neckless on it would look daft if hair went over it........ yes i think an "up" do will be the one to have whether i opt for flower or not :-)

Michelle - Yay, that'd be awesome! We aren't doing a legal ceremony. It's important to my parents that we get married in a Catholic church, and we want an outdoor wedding, so we are getting married by a priest here before going to Mexico. BUT I do know that I had to have the WC change our contract to a symbolic wedding from a legal one, so I don't think she would've had a contract for a legal ceremony at her resort on a Saturday if it wasn't allowed in Mexico. Could've just been an oversight on her part, but if we'd wanted a legal ceremony then that would've been a HUGE oversight that I hope she wouldn't make!

I also will not be wearing a veil....when I tried on my dress the lady put one on my and i was like ok this is ruining it take it off...maybe it was the veil she picked but i hated it! I originally planned not to wear a veil being outside by the ocean with the wind and stuff...not sure how I'll wear my hair yet...depends how long I can grow it in 10 months! : )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
