Any 2011 Brides out there?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for being so welcoming!!! smile03.gif

O where to begin... well I'm still truly in the premature stages of planning. We really have only decided on the location(Grand Cayman Island, Grand Old House) and the colors (coral and turquoise--to stick with the beach theme). Flowers are a headache for me because every time I think I've decided I spot something new and exciting that just confuses me lol. Our wedding coordinator has been a blessing, she's so patient with all of my changes and she tries her best to make sure I'm happy by the end of every convo---gotta love that!!! But anywho, as for the dress,  I have tried on several dresses and still haven't found the one but I hope to do some shopping with my family (Mom and Sister) over the holiday period. The rings have been the easiest part of this whole ordeal---he appreciates very simple styles while I aim for the glitz and glam factors :) Diamonds are of course a girls best friend msnwink.gif. The great thing about it all is he knows just what I want before I even say anything so when we went shopping he just pick up the ring that sparkled the most and said this is it!! lol But its absolutely fitting for my personality.

OOOOO enough about me. Bring on the tips and tricks to getting through this process!!

I agree but my mom said the same thing "most ppl will still want to get you something." Another point: Some ppl may not make it to the big day but still want to show support by buying you a gift so......we are just saying gift cards(can't go wrong there) and no one has to spend a ton to get one. We added it to our wedding website after my mom suggested it!

Ok so in the pictures of it, it dosent actually look that special, but i tried it on today and i DIDNT wana take it off, I just loved it..... In fact the more im talking about it the more i think im going to get it.... It was gorgeous, fitted PERFECT too & & & & & i always said i didnt want a veil but now i do.... i was looking for an aqua flower for my hair now i just want a hair comb with some bling flowers... i tried on the whole "shbang" I really really wanted my mum or sis there. I went on my own today as i couldnt get anyone to go with me. But i must say, I Looked Gorgeous :-) Infact reading back on this I dont think i have a dilema after all............ I nearly cried, didnt cry, but nearly i had a tear in my eye for sure....

I just wish the picture of it looked like it did when it was on!!!!

You will probably notice it is VERY VERY simliar to the one i originally wanted so i defo know the style is right :-)

Oh Nicyx, I actually like the first one from the pics better than the second!

You have to choose what's right for you though! If you feel like this is the one than don't second guess yourself b/c you'll make yourself crazy!!!

Nicole, they are both beautiful dresses (and similar). If the Benjamin Roberts one makes you feel like a million dollars go with it! You won't regret it.It looks more fitted and I love the more defined line under the bust (personal opinion).  I had a hard time, because I had envisioned a certain type of dress and tried on so many, but nothing felt right. Then tried on something completely different and feel in love! All I can say is, when you know, you know! :)
