Thanks for the site suggestions though! x
You should go to a bridal store, try it on to see how it fits. If you like it, you can order it. It's difficult because I always hear stories how brides have a certain look they want to go with and when they try on the chosen styles, they end up going with a totally different style/look. FYI: the most hideous looking dress can look stunning once it's on. You can't judge a dress while it's on a hanger. Good Luck :)

Moon Palace was in the top 2 for me also. Looks soooo nice there and you get sooo much in your wedding package!

WOW, the flower is nice. I really like the blue crystals.
Me too I got some silk flower hair pins and hair bands from an accessories store for 5 for $10, I will wear them at my friend's wedding, to see if I look good with BIG FLOWER on my head.
I saw one with a silver starfish in the middle of the flower on Etsy.com. However, it is like $45 plus shipping...not sure if I wanna spend $50 on a hair pin.
I also saw a site, proposed by a bride on this forum, that sells silver starfish jewelleries, which I think can be a good pick of a DW jewellery. I also like blue topaz jewellery bacause of its blue color.

Roxmysockz, I got the flower and the blue crystals from a shop near where i work in Carlisle called fun2do and the clip from superdrug!! and just stuck them all together :-)
Fun2Do - UK mail order specialists of haberdashery and craft supplies

Bonnie. i love that starfish neckless, is that the one from etsy? :-)

Hmmm, think im going to have to double check with the TA about having my dress as hand luggage... that will be the next thing for me to worry about!!! Hahaha :-)

Nicyx - just dont tell anyone your dress is your hand luggage. Where i am getting my dress from has said as DW are more common now they have boxes/bags etc where they can professionally fold and fit your dress into the hand luggage requirements. You will just have to get your FI to have a handbag so you can put all your other bits in his bag. LOL.

Bonnie - I like the necklace- i think if you have a simple dress it will be lovely. I have found a couple of small starfish pendant necklaces online which I may order up to try out.

As for getting the dress there...... My friend who wed in Mexico last Sept was told she could NOT have her dress as hand luggage! She had to pack it in her suitcase!!!! When i bought my dress the lady that owns the shop said they actually pack the dress for you. In a hand luggage case with special tissue paper that prevents creasing! She said in the summer it's like Heathrow with all the cases as DW's are becoming more popular. I told her about my friend not being aloud and she said just dont tell them it's your wedding dress! So that's what i'm planning to do. She said "you will be suprised what we can fit into a hand luggage case" so i have faith in them to do it for me :o) Sorry for jabbering on lol....x
Michelle my dress is a lot like yours, and I think that if you get one main piece of jewelry you'll be ok. I'm not really a necklace person, so I'm just going to wear big earrings and nothing else, not even a bracelet. I think if you make things look proportional, it won't look OTT. If you wear a blingy necklace, just wear studs for earrings, or something along those lines. Obviously when you see everything on, you'll know

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
