I actually made my own RSVP's that i sent out with the invites your right its not actually something we do much of here in the UK but i just got carried away with making things :-) and thought why not!!? plus seeing you guys all doing it gave me inspiration too.

Yeah, i thought it would be more personal aswell to be honest, her colours are Fuschia Pink and Orange so im doing it in her colours too, i just know she will love it :-) x

Arrrr, so what do you do then if you dont do wedding regret cards if you cant make it? Im curious now :-)

Here people normally send out a card that has a spot to check if you are coming, or a spot to check if you have to say no. It's all done on one card. I thought it was really sweet that my aunt sent a card that was specfically a "regret" card!

I am also a 2011 bride carn't confirm dates yet due to prices not yet being available but hoping for around 18th/19th November 2011. How do i add our date to the list of 2011 dates??

 

Have any of you got a theme i.e seashells, starfish etc for place cards/ table decorations and favors etc i am unsure as to have a theme or not also not totally decided on colours yet have seen a really nice claret red and ivory for bridesmaids but worried that the colours are to deep and heavy, was thinking of having roses for the bouquets but again nothing decided for definate will probably make our definate decisions as soon as we have booked it will feel more real then :-)

I like the first invite, the paper is so nice, the design is clean and simple, but the ribbon adds some sophistication to the whole piece!

Here we go :-) Ive added you. I havent got a theme to be honest not at the momemt anyway, but there is still plenty of time to change that... also the ideas that come from here will probably change my mind in time!!!! And your definalty right it does fel more real when its all booked :-) Hopefully soon for you xox

Hi girls, wow i've had alot to catch up on i haven't been on here for a couple of days! Well 28th brides it's a year today... How exciting. I am one of those at the mo but that may have to change. We are getting good quotes to fly on a different date so may have to change our wedding date. It's all a bit up in the air at the mo, so will keep you posted! x

When you mentioned a year today - i thought 'only a year thats great' - then pooped my pants as realised mine is 8 months away!!!!

Good to hear you are getting some better prices - are you looking to move it forward or back?

8 months WOW!!!!

Well we are being messed around a bit at the mo. None of the TA's know what they are doing. Absolutely useless idiots. We have been given good prices flying on 24th May with TCook from Caribbean Warehouse. But we were originally told the flights were on the 22nd. (fits in perfect with the wedding on 28th) now they are saying they may have made a mistake and the flights might be on the 22nd after all! Arrrrgghhh - we are having a nightmare! cosmos have even advertised 24th flights on their website and are unsure when they actually are. So we are now waiting for confirmation when we can ACTUALLY fly! Vent over, lol.......

Jeez - Sorry to hear this!!! If i were you if the flights were wrong and it was their mistake i'd push Carribean Warehouse to give the original price!

 

They told us a rate we emailed all of our guests saying this is the price the next day it went up by 300+ ( because of flights) so we told them we wouldnt pay that and to bare in mind they would get well over 25k out of our wedding party they did in the end agree to hold the prices at the lower rate. Luckily all my guests were scared by the price going up so soon and everyone booked in those 4 days! lol x
