I totally hit the jackpot and finally found the shoes on Monday. Just snapped a few quick pics with my iphone. (Sorry about the photo quality)

Found them at Nordstrom Rack in the designer section for a cool $109!! In the photo they almost look a very pale light blue, but they're actually silver.

It was a total Jerry Seinfeld marble rye moment. I spotted the only pair from down the aisle and all but pryed them out of this woman's hands. OK I'm embellishing, but I did almost knock someone over.
LOVES them!

1) Had a wedding monogram logo designed for us
2) Ordered personalized water bottle labels with the logo on it
3) Have my OOT bag vendor picked out (who also designed our logo which the OOT bags will also have)
4) Sent out the STD's
5) Got our Personlized Lip Balm for the OOt bags
6) Got our Glass Beach Photo Coasters for the Table Favors
7) Have Bridesmaids dresses ordered
7) oh yes and ordered my wedding gown

Still have plenty to do though. But once I officially started receiving stuff and picked out and ordered my gown it feels more real LOL Slowly but surely its coming together :-)

I'm dying to go to Tahiti. I had my eye on Bora Bora but it was CRAZY expensive so its not in the cards for us with the wedding and all. But it looks GORGEOUS!
WOW, You have lots done :-) Have you got pix? I cant wait to order my dress... will be doing this more towards sept/oct i think :-)
Yipee... like you said its all coming together, making it more real x

you ladies are doing soooo much!!! right now i'm concentrating on my making my payments. and trying to wait til maybe the end of summer to try to see if the price will go down again to rebook the room. I already saved $350. (that's a few more summer dresses for me. lol)

I know exactly what style of dress but I want to check out some of these dress makers. I might be able to save more money.

My friend sent me pics of me in the dress! The sample was actually a size too small on me (it had actually been a cancellation), so my dress won't have all those crease marks in the front, it'll lay more flat. I'm also having it made with a sweetheart neckline instead. I can't wait to see it, it comes in in January!

Great silhouette! I agree with Bonnie, simple and extremely elegant. The sweetheart neckline will look great. As for the Louboutins, are you going traditional white/silver or something bright? Definitely post those when you get them! And thanks for the shoe comment -- LOVE Nordstom Rack and Loehmann's!

Nicola- So sorry to hear the news. Keep your head up, dear. Keep that positive attitude and I have a feeling things will go your way :)

Mad props for getting all that done! You inspire me . . . everything looks very tied together.

As a sidenote, anyone else think the model in the David's bridal dresses looks like a pre-plasticHeidi Montag?!! (think Season 1 of THe Hills)

Whoops Did I just admit I watch that piece of garb show?!

The DB dresses are in the the same just in 3 different shades of blue. I think they pick up in the boys' ties nicely :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
