Me - I got engaged in October and was booked 3 weeks later lol!

josietoms, at the mo we have obviously us, FI's sister, hubby and neice. My mum and dad will hopefully be confirming shortly.... not sure if they can come at the mo as it is a bit pricey!! Watch this space x

We got engaged in Nov 2001... haha, we have had a v. long engagement :-) If i knew then what i know now, LOL :-) xox

WOW...that is really a long engagement! My friend was the opposite of you, she met a guy in Oct, and got married by August the following year! I am not sure if she made the right choice, but I would prefer a long engagement, so I can get to know the person better!

Bonnie talking about her friend meeting the guy and getting married so quickly made me wonder... how did all of you meet your fiance's?? Any fun stories?

 

My fiance is actually the brother of one of my good friends! We first met at a party she had in high school when her parents were out of town (he was 21 and up from college, he and his friends bought the alcohol hahaha). We had a brief romance then, stayed in touch through here over the years, and then "re-met" when he was in town visiting her one weekend... we've been together ever since (2 years now).

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
