HHhhmmm our colour is pink and i was debating if to have pink shoes or ivory or a diamonte sandal. But i see these online and they were a bargain so i thought why not. If i see something in Pink nearer the time i haven't wasted alot of £££'s getting these. And a girl can never have to many pairs of shoes, hee hee ;o)

i went to a wedding last year and the bride had the most amazing bright pink shoes - it made everyone smile; it was the first time i had seen it done and it was great. Me - flat ballet pumps with a few crystals - ill prob wear them the rest of my holiday after the wedding as they are quite casual. I couldnt even begin to think about walking in yours Michelle :-)

Michelle,

The shoes are gorgeous!

Josie,

I know I have seen brides in bright pink, blue and green shoes. and they looked fabulous.

Mexbride,

I know! my FI's divorced parents are coming (meanwhile, my parents who are still together aren't coming). My FI's childhood friends, aunts, uncles are also coming from France and Belgium, meanwhile...my parents who live on the same continent refused to take a 4.5 hours plane. I am so jealous!

Bonnie - I am so sorrysad.gif I couldn't handle my parents not being there. I'm crossing my fingers for you that they change their minds. Hopefully they realize that this is their daughter's wedding, and they'd regret missing it for the rest of their lives. I've cried a lot over my grandparents not going, so I can't even imagine how you must feel!

On the bright side, and I hope this has been happening/will happen for all of you, I've been so pleasantly surprised at the people that we thought wouldn't come who are saying that they will, and are excited! We've both had a couple of aunts, uncles, and cousins that we thought couldn't afford the trip or wouldn't be interested contact us to tell us how excited they are. I hope they keep that excitement up for the next 13.5 months:)

Michelle - my colors are aqua and pink, but I think pink shoes are much more versatile and easier to find than aqua ones, because like you, I plan to go for some stilettos! I'd love shoes that I could wear with a fun dress after the wedding. But I'm also considering blue shoes (dark blue or royal blue) instead, so they could be my something blue. My friend wore navy blue shoes for her wedding last winter and they were SO cute, plus she can wear them to work and for going out because they're so versatile!

Michelle, LOVE LOVE those shoes.... I would love something like that but as were getting married on the beach they jusy wouldnt be suitable. And how cute is that hair pin for Scarlette :-)

Im looking for Aqua shoes but as Mexbride83 has said its hard to find aqua so not sure what im doing yet. I do love the idea of coloured shoes though.

What a great idea having your something blue as your shoes :-)

I had the best day yesterday.... My mum and dad turned up at my house with my gorgeous nephew, (bit of a story why though) they were in the lake district for the day (about an hour away from our house) and were going to stay at a travel lodge but then my mum phoned me to say my dozy brother, who has been in Amsterdam the last few days with his GF, had lost his passport and his GF has lost her purse so wanted to come to mine to get online to transfer money to his account so they have some money because the embassy was also closed when he went to see what to do, so they have to go back today..... i am sat here at the mo with absolutly no idea where my bro is as his battery has gone flat on his mobile!!!! argh... but the up note is i got to see my mum,dad and gorgeous nephew for the first time since October :-) What a lovely suprise :-)

Michelle, every time I see you post I take notice of that red dress you're wearing in your sig pic. I love one-shoulder things as well as big flower embellishments! Do you have a full photo of that dress you're wearing? I would love to finally see the whole outfit! It looks super cute!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
