Im like you with the Carbs, & my biggest down fall is bread, i could easily eat a whole loaf i think, not that ive ever tried to, but i reckon it could be done!! x

I have been toying around with this idea.....

I bought a flower for £1.60 and then bought a clip for £1.25 and after a bit of doctoring with the clip (it came with a long tiger print plastic strip on it) I stuck the flower to it. I figured if i got some small Aqua (light blue) diamonds, Like the kind you can get for sticking on your nails etc, I could dot a few about on the flower petals and it could possibly be my hair flower? What do you think?

Here is the clip part :

I just need to have some sort of hair trail to see what it looks like in the hair now...

Thanks lovely ladies, im so glad you like the flower :-) Phew.

I wanted to show FI to get his opinion (as he never holds back!!!) but the less he knows about me for the big day the better a suprise for him when im walking towards him!!!

Im really pleased you like it. The flower was from a place called "fun to do" in Carlisle it sells all sorts of card making stuff to wool and embroidery stuff etc

i have just found they have a website

Fun2Do - UK mail order Flowers

Im sure you would have something like this down where you are but i posted the site anyway incase you want a nosey!!!

And i got the clip in superdrug, they have a half price sale on some stuff and i just found this and thought for £1.25 if it dosent work then a least ive not wasted too much!!!! I may have to go get a few more of each so i have plenty to play with in the next few months, i just cant find any of the diamond things i want in the Aqua blue colour, so thats my next hunt......

Glad you like the extra pic's of us on the website, i wasnt sure if i liked it but thats prob coz I HATE seeing myself in pics!!!!! A few other girls in the Riu Palace thread have suggested maybe i do meet & greet section when i can confirm guests... I thought that was a good idea but i think is going to be a while before i can add anything like that....

Michelle,

I know what you mean, carb lovers are very common. From asians who must eat 2 bowls of rice every meal to italians who would die if there is no bread and pasta on the table.

Nicola,

Once you get your date confirmed, you can add more info on the site. It is already a very nice site and I like the pics too.

Quick question...Do you pay/plan to pay for your guests to goto Mexico? The reason I ask that is my dad thinks it is odd and not proper to ask our guests to pay for their trip.

Hey Bonnie, Glad you like the site so far :-)

We are asking guests to pay for themselves as there is absolutly no way on this earth we could afford to pay for even 1 guest let alone the ones we think are coming. were struggling to get the money together for the 2 of us and the wedding, so in our case... NO!!!

Originally when Stephen and I said we were getting married abroad we were under the impression it would be just us two going because of the costs involved... Weve had a chat to some of our nearest and dearest and told them that we would love for them to come but will not be paying for them, and if they want to come fantastic but we would fully understand if they couldnt come due to costs etc.

This is fine with us, we dont expect everyone who we send the invites out to, to come but also i didnt want to miss inviting people as i believe they should choose, and if they were going away anyway them why not combine it with our wedding?!?!?

Were going to be upset that not everyone special to us are going to be there and im sure some will be upset that they can not make it but this is what we have decided so hopefully it will work out ok :-) x

xoxo

Michelle - I'm totally with you on just eating what you want in moderation. That is really what it all comes down to... if you eat a pint of ice cream, just make up for it by limiting the rest of your meals. Also, I love that you pointed out that your fiance will love you with love handles or not. I think it's important for every bride-to-be to realize that their fiance proposed to them before any weight loss, so they love them just how they are:)

Linhy - I'm not trying to lose weight, I'm just refuting any misinformation on dieting. I hate to see women depleting their bodies of nutrients to try to get down a dress size, and I've seen a lot of it in my work. I just want you all to be healthy!

Nicy- I love the hair flower!! I may appear organized, but booking the resort and photographer are really all I've done. I'm so impressed by all of you with websites, clothing, invites, OOT bags, etc! I always feel so behind when I'm on here haha.

Oops, sorry forgot to respond about my break:) My fiance and I went down to New Orleans for 5 days! It was SO much fun. I had never been, and it is just a crazy party city. Especially for St. Patrick's Day! Then I spent the remainder of my break at my fiance's house (we live 2 hours apart). It was so wonderful to get all that time together, as we usually only get 2-3 days a week. It's making me dread leaving for the summer even more thoughsad.gif I'll be gone for 3 months, and it's going to be so hard to be away from him and my dogs!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
