WOW, so cute! I ve seen some pics with brides wearing these! I also saw some were made with seashells (dunno if the seashells ones are comfy).
Last year, Steve Madden has a pair of sandals with seashells (which would be PERFECT for destination weddings!), but I didn't bought them, because I didn't know I was going to get married!!! URRGGGG!!! On Alloy.com, they had an imitation version of the sandals at $9.99, and it was sold out as well!

LOL, we are on the same boat. I don't wanna pay too much extra for extra guests (not included in the package), at the same time, I wanna have a decent group size. Therefore I have a VIP list, following by the waiting list!

Hey, im quite new to this forum and just starting to find my feet and came across this thread..... I too am a 2011 bride. 17 of us travelling from the UK in January 2011 to Catalonia Riviera Maya. Everything is booked apart from the wedding date being confirmed which may not be available until August 2010. But I'm trying to remain calm; as we have been to this hotel before so know what to expect and have told everyone how great it is. Hopefully the TA will keep chasing for the wedding date.

Nicyx - LOVE your barefoot sandals! I can't believe you made those yourself. You should start your own Etsy selling account:)

Prettypigpig - We have a room block for our guests at our hotel, but if it fills up then there are other places in Puerto Morelos they can stay. However, I'm not too worried as most of my guests (or at least the ones I REALLY want there) will book plenty in advance, so they'll be safe:)

lol that's funny prettypigpig!! How much people did you invite? Yeah plus I am going insane with my reception table. I also want to have enough people that will fit the rectangle size haha since it'll look weird with less or too many people. I know what you mean!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
